It was Covid, we had a small budget due to label cutbacks and they wanted it to feel like we were on the beach. The boys were excited because, this was their debut single and they needed a way to make a splash visually in the scene. Through a series of meetings and story boarding sessions with my animator Abraham Mast, we came up with a plan.

We brought in 15 loads of sand into a backyard, covered it in green and threw a party. The team raced the rain the whole day but we managed to shoot the whole thing in a incredibly short timeframe with careful pre-production, angle planning and clever use of the space we had.
